Official rates Monthly
Current as of 27 Aug 2026. Direct official government sources only. Not a .mil site. Finance and TMO own the voucher. We do not compute a member’s claim. BAH has individual rate protection. First and last travel day M&IE is 75% per JTR/FTR.
Per diem — cite the ZIP-file dual rows. Do not flatten.
FY2026. Effective 1 Oct 2025–30 Sep 2026. GSA master file title: FY2026 Per Diem Rates - Effective October 1, 2025. Tinker AFB is in Midwest City / Oklahoma County. The GSA master NSA row for this metro is Oklahoma City / Oklahoma County (destination ID 295), lodging $116 / M&IE $80 year-round. GSA text (FTR 26-01 / per diem lookup notes): per diem localities with county definitions include all locations within the listed counties; when a military installation sits in a listed county, the county NSA can apply. Tinker is in Oklahoma County. If a member lodges outside Oklahoma County, TMO / finance owns which locality the TLE voucher uses. We are not inventing that call. Monthly.
Do not flatten the GSA master and the GSA ZIP file into one “Tinker rate.” ZIP 73145 (the base) is Oklahoma City NSA. Nearby ZIPs 73135 and 73150 have both a Standard Rate row and an Oklahoma City NSA row in the same ZIP file. We publish both. We do not pick a winner.
Table A — Oklahoma City / Oklahoma County (GSA master NSA)
GSA FY2026 master file destination Oklahoma City / Oklahoma County (ID 295):
| Dates | Lodging | M&IE |
|---|---|---|
| Every month (Oct–Sep) | $116 | $80 |
Table B — Tinker-area ZIPs (GSA ZIP file)
GSA FY2026 ZIP file, retrieved with the master file:
- ZIP 73145 (Tinker): Oklahoma City NSA. Lodging $116 / M&IE $80.
- ZIPs 73110 and 73115: same Oklahoma City NSA row. Lodging $116 / M&IE $80.
- ZIPs 73135 and 73150: the ZIP file has both a Standard Rate row (lodging $110 / M&IE $68) and an Oklahoma City NSA row (lodging $116 / M&IE $80). Those are not the same line. We will not pretend a dual-row ZIP “is” only NSA.
| Dates | Lodging | M&IE |
|---|---|---|
| Every month (Oct–Sep) — Standard Rate row | $110 | $68 |
TLE uses a locality per diem. We are not computing days authorized. We are not declaring which ZIP-file row finance will use for TLE at 73135 or 73150, or for a hotel outside Oklahoma County. There is no on-base TLF nightly rate to copy — Indian Hills Inn is CLOSED. Read MOS temporary housing. Do not treat a reprint hotel list as official.

ZIP 73145 (also 73110, 73115, 73135, 73150, 73165) maps to MHA OK239 “OKLAHOMA CITY, OK” in sorted_zipmha26.txt / mhanames26.txt. Figures below are the OK239 line of bahw26.txt (with dependents) and bahwo26.txt (without dependents). Same numbers in the PDF titled 2026 BAH Rates (created 09 Dec 2025). The TX270 Abilene temporary increase does not change OK239.

Secondary DLA is not published here. In this same PDF the secondary section heading still reads Effective January 1, 2025. That heading looks stale. Partial DLA is a separate file, not in this PDF — we are not inventing a partial amount. Use the DTMO DLA page for those files.

Arrival, sponsor, lodging Monthly
Hours, phones, and lodging options move. Read the live pages. Where official pages disagree, we cite both. We do not flatten the conflict into a fake “current” number of our own.
- MOS check-in (retrieved 27 Aug 2026): if you arrive between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, report to your unit commander. Before departing, stay in contact with your sponsor on date and time of arrival. Members in-process through Finance and their Unit Commander’s Support Staff. That includes gaining onto the base, travel vouchers, permissive TDY for house hunting, and scheduling Right Start (Newcomers Orientation).
- MOS sponsorship (search index of the official page, retrieved 27 Aug 2026): gaining unit emails a Welcome To Tinker Air Force Base letter and assigns a sponsor. If you are not contacted by your sponsor within 45 days of your PCS, contact M&FRC with name, rank, date of arrival, and gaining unit. Phone on that MOS sponsorship page: 405-739-2747 or DSN 312-339-2747. Monthly — we did not call it today.
- Military Personnel Flight Customer Support (DEERS/ID Card) on MOS check-in: walk-ins 7:30 to 10 a.m. (Mon–Fri); appointments 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Mon–Fri); closed federal holidays and Family Down Days. Appointment scheduler: idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/locator. Comm 405-739-7646 / DSN 312-339-7646. Hours are Monthly.
- First Term Airman Center: MOS check-in says if you are enlisted and this is your first duty assignment, you will attend First Term Airman Center before you are permanently assigned to your unit. We are not inventing a day count. Your sponsor / CSS has the live schedule.
- Housing is privatized (Balfour Beatty). Application / HEAT: Homes.mil HEAT. Air Force housing unit page: housing.af.mil — Tinker AFB (this datacenter got 403 on 27 Aug 2026 — still the official page). MOS housing (checked 27 Aug 2026): Balfour Beatty Communities, 5601 Twining Drive, Tinker AFB, OK 73145, phone 405-610-3637, fax 405-610-6145. Hours on that privatized-housing block: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m.–7 p.m. The same MOS housing page’s “Main Contact Info” block lists Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Those are not the same Wednesday line. Cited, not flattened. Monthly.
- Military Housing Office / Housing Referral Office on the same MOS housing page: 405-734-7350 or DSN 312-884-7350 (also 405-736-3965 on the Government Housing block). Hours listed: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Located at 5601 Twining Dr, Tinker AFB OK 73145. Hours are Monthly.
- MOS housing also says privatized family housing includes 660 homes in four distinct neighborhoods (two-, three-, and four-bedroom). “Wait times vary depending on availability. The average wait time is six to nine months.” That sentence is on MOS as of 27 Aug 2026. It is Monthly. We quote it with the date. We do not treat it as gospel. We do not quote floor plans.
Indian Hills Inn is CLOSED — official MOS wins; cite leftover inn copy
MilitaryINSTALLATIONS temporary housing (checked 27 Aug 2026): “There is no temporary housing on Tinker Air Force Base. Please refer to long-term stay options in the local area or your sponsor for suggestions. The Relocation Program Manager at the Military Family Readiness Center has an updated list of hotels within a 20-minute drive from the installation. Please call 405-739-2747 with any questions.”
Same MOS TLF page, Pets: “The Indian Hills Inn on Tinker Air Force Base is CLOSED. Check with the local hotels off base if they have pet-friendly rooms.”
Same MOS TLF page, Reservations: “Indian Hills Inn is CLOSED. There is no temporary housing on base. Off base hotels are being used for temporary housing. Travelers on official orders to the installation may make reservations to the local hotels downtown.”
MOS check-in Travel Planning (retrieved 27 Aug 2026): “For lodging needs, all members are directed to procure a room off base. No lodging is available on base.” Same page, later: “For lodging needs, all members are directed to procure a room off base as the base has no lodging office.”
72 FSS (tinkerliving.com, Indian Hills Lodging Closure page dated 9 Jun 2024, checked 27 Aug 2026): “Indian Hills Lodging on Tinker Air Force Base has closed as of 31 December 2022.” That FSS page links a local-accommodations list. We will not copy that list here.
tinker.af.mil news article (search index; this datacenter got 403 on 27 Aug 2026): “Tinker lodging to close, last weekend for reservations” — Indian Hills Inn close permanently 31 December 2022. Still the official news URL. Linked below.
housing.af.mil Tinker AFB (search index of the official page; this datacenter got 403 on 27 Aug 2026): unaccompanied-housing copy still names Indian Hills Lodge, beside the Tinker Club on Arnold Street, for after-hours checkout of 72-hour rooms, phone (405) 734-5095 / DSN 884-5095. That is leftover inn language on an official housing page. Official MOS + 72 FSS + the 2022 closure article say the inn is closed. Official closure wins. Cited, not flattened. Do not treat housing.af.mil leftover copy as a live 24-hour inn.
tinker.af.mil Newcomers: this datacenter got 403 on 27 Aug 2026. Still linked. We did not invent 24-hour-inn or “Sooner Inn” copy to fill the gap. Reprint guides that still describe a 24-hour arrival inn or an open Indian Hills Inn were not used.
We will not publish a hotel list. Call the Relocation Program Manager at M&FRC. MOS TLF number for that list: 405-739-2747.
M&FRC phone — 405-739-2747 and 405-734-2747 both appear. Cited, not flattened.
405-739-2747 is on MOS temporary housing (hotel list), MOS check-in (Right Start registration; “no later than five business day prior”), MOS sponsorship, and 72 FSS Right Start / EFMP / casualty lines (Building 6001, Arnold St.).
405-734-2747 is on MOS relocation assistance (“Call the Military and Family Readiness Center - 405-734-2747 for more information”) and on 72 FSS for Relocation/Sponsorship Awareness Class registration and PCS Brief / Remote Tour one-on-ones.
Those are not the same number. We will not pick a winner. Monthly. We did not call either today.
Right Start — monthly, not flattened to one clock time
MOS check-in: Right Start (Newcomers Orientation) “is held each month.” All attendees must register by calling M&FRC at 405-739-2747, no later than five business days prior. Briefings listed there include the installation commander and 72d Air Base Wing Command Chief; 552d Air Control Wing Commander and Wing Command Chief; 72d IG, EO, Housing Referral, Emergency Management, 72d SFS, Med Group, and M&FRC. 20 hours of free child care is available within 60 days of arrival (same MOS check-in and MOS relocation pages).
MOS relocation assistance: upon arrival, take the Right Start Newcomers’ Briefing. In-person. 72d Base Commander together with the 552 ACW Commander welcomes members and families. Before arrival: Virtual Pre-arrival orientation; PCSing members receive an email explaining programs and how to sign up. We are not inventing a Teams URL.
72 FSS M&FRC (checked 27 Aug 2026): Right Start is the Wing Commander’s program. Mandatory for military members. Spouses cordially invited. Held every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the low PCS season, and every 2nd and 4th Wednesday during the high PCS season. Held at M&FRC Building 6001, Arnold St. Call 405.739.2747 to register. Address on that FSS page: 6001 Arnold St, Oklahoma City, OK 73145.
Same 72 FSS page calendar widget (checked 27 Aug 2026): a Right Start event listed 2 Sep 2026, 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. That is a calendar item, not a standing hours table on the paragraph above. We will not flatten 7:30 a.m. into “the” Right Start time. Seminar day and hours are Monthly.
MOS relocation: Tinker Air Force Base does not have a Loan Closet. Airman’s Attic: MOS relocation says “active duty E-5 and below.” tinker.af.mil Family Services (search index; 403 from this datacenter) says E1–E6. Cited, not flattened. Confirm with M&FRC.
MOS TLF also lists FamCamp year-round (sewer, water, electric, dump station, restroom, shower, laundry; fishing pond). Contact on that MOS page: 405-734-2847. 72 FSS FamCamp page: tinkerliving.com/famcamp/. Hours and site counts on FSS are Monthly. We did not copy nightly rates.
Climate and weather Seasonal / annual
Tinker is NWS WFO OUN (Norman / Oklahoma City). tinker.af.mil newcomers 403’d from this datacenter on 27 Aug 2026. We will not invent climate numbers (average snowfall, record high, “how many tornadoes”) to fill the gap. Use NWS:
Central Oklahoma heat, ice, and severe weather are real; NWS OUN is the live weather office. Vehicle-specific gear is Auto Hobby / a local shop / the vehicle manual — not a random ASIN we invent. 72 FSS Outdoor Recreation and Auto Hobby are on the live FSS site; hours move.
Hunting, fishing, boating Seasonal / annual
Seasons change. We will not paste a table that will rot. Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is the official source:
- ODWC home
- Hunting regulations (link the calendar; do not copy it here)
- Fishing regulations
- 72 FSS Outdoor Recreation — gear, trips, hours and stock on their page
- 72 FSS FamCamp
Licenses, zones, and “can I hunt this weekend” are on those pages, not here.
Kid-friendly (parks, library) Seasonal / annual
- City of Midwest City Parks & Recreation — parks and rec. Hours for a given pool or park change; read their site. Office listed there: 200 N Midwest Blvd., Nick Harroz Community Center, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those hours are Monthly.
- Midwest City Library (Metropolitan Library System; 8143 E. Reno Avenue, Midwest City, OK 73110 on that official library page). Also named from the city’s Quality of Life page.
- OKC Parks and OKC Park Locations
- Metropolitan Library System — county library system. Card rules are on their site; we are not inventing eligibility.
- School Liaison is on 72 FSS: tinkerliving.com/school-liaison/
- Youth programs: 72 FSS Youth Center
We are not ranking playgrounds or inventing a “best for toddlers” list.
Utilities Monthly
Official Midwest City OK and Oklahoma City pages only. We will not guess which electric or gas company a given street uses. We will not invent a street-by-street map. Check the city list and your lease / MHO. We did not use InMyArea (MOS housing links it; we will not). We did not use realtor blogs.
- City of Midwest City — New, Termination, or Transfer of Services (checked 27 Aug 2026). City water start/stop. Utility Customer Service: 100 N Midwest Boulevard, Midwest City, OK 73110. Phones on that page: 405-739-1252 and 405-739-1254. After-hours water/sewer emergency: 405-739-1383. Lobby/drive-thru/phone hours listed there: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Those numbers live on the city page; they can move. Monthly.
- City of Midwest City Public Works — water production/distribution, wastewater, solid waste. 8730 SE 15th Street, Midwest City, OK 73110. Phone on that page: 405-739-1066. Hours listed: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After-hours water/sewer emergency: 405-739-1383.
- Midwest City Welcome Guide for New Residents (PDF) is an official city document. It names OG&E for street lights out (OG&E Customer Svc 405-272-9741 on that guide). That is a city page naming OG&E for street lights. It is not a street map for electric service. We will not invent which address is OG&E.
- City of Oklahoma City — Start, Stop or Transfer Service (checked 27 Aug 2026). City water, sewer, and/or trash: okcutilities.com “Start Service,” or Utilities Customer Service (405) 297-2833, 8 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours are Monthly.
- City of Oklahoma City Utilities and Pay Bill — city water/trash portal. After-hours water outages, emergencies, or sewer back-ups: (405) 297-2833, Ext. 1 on the Pay Bill page.
- City of Oklahoma City Homeowner Rehabilitation Assistance is an official city page that names OG&E (electric bill; customer service 405-272-9741) and Oklahoma Natural Gas (gas bill, if applicable; 800-664-5463) among example utility bills for that program. That is a city page naming those companies. It is not “your street is OG&E / ONG.” We will not invent a gas map.
On-base family housing is privatized; utility setup for a Tinker housing address is the housing office’s job, not a paragraph we invent.
Fuel Monthly
We do not publish a price. Check today:
Restaurants and a young airman’s grocery bill Monthly
We will not rank restaurants without a monthly check we are not running. No “top 10 cheap eats.” Menu prices rot. A young airman’s budget is real; the honest line is the commissary plus an official city directory, not a fake Yelp five.
- DeCA — Tinker AFB Commissary (hours on their page; we are not copying them)
- Commissary shop / store page
- City of Midwest City: midwestcityok.org
- City of Oklahoma City: okc.gov
- On-base campus dining is listed by 72 FSS. Hours move. Start at tinkerliving.com.
Traffic, distance, wildlife Seasonal / annual Monthly
We are not inventing a commute time or a mile-count. Ice, heat, severe weather, wildlife, and metro traffic change the drive. For weather: NWS Norman (OUN). For animals and seasons: ODWC. For city streets: City of Midwest City and City of Oklahoma City.
BAH, per diem, mileage, and DLA: see Official rates.
Meet people Monthly
Official, then stop. We are not inventing a singles meetup or linking a closed Facebook group.
- 72d Force Support Squadron (MWR) — calendar, outdoor rec, youth
- Military & Family Readiness Center — Relocation and Right Start registration. Address on the FSS page: 6001 Arnold St, Oklahoma City, OK 73145. MOS / FSS Right Start phone: 405-739-2747. Other MOS / FSS lines use 405-734-2747. Cited above. Hours on that FSS page are a view-hours widget; we did not flatten a clock time we could not quote from the live HTML. Monthly.
- MilitaryINSTALLATIONS — Tinker AFB
Chapel: we did not get a live tinker.af.mil chapel page from this datacenter (403). Still look on tinker.af.mil / MOS. Do not invent a service time.
USO: we did not find a standalone USO center page for Tinker. Do not invent one. USO national: uso.org.
Public news (no CAC): Tinker AFB public affairs / news (403 from this datacenter; still the official news index) · City of Midwest City · City of Oklahoma City.
Material kit add-on for this climate
The national empty-house cart is still kit.html (sleep, cook, shower, light). For Tinker, NWS OUN is the live weather office. Class-based Amazon only, tag heybryx-20, same 4.0★ + in-stock rule as the kit. We did not pick a Tinker-specific ASIN on 27 Aug 2026 — freeze-plug heaters, tornado-shelter hardware, and tires are vehicle- or house-specific; bundled roadside kits go out of stock. No button. Buy the pieces you actually need.
engine block heater
Class, not a random freeze-plug
Central Oklahoma ice happens; NWS OUN is the live weather office. Freeze-plug and corded OEM heaters are vehicle-specific. We will not pick a random ASIN for your engine. Magnetic pan heaters only stick to steel/iron, not aluminum, and they are not a substitute for a correctly installed engine heater. Ask Auto Hobby / a local shop / your vehicle manual. 72 FSS Auto Hobby: tinkerliving.com/auto-hobby-shop/.
Example of the class, not a ranked test. We are an Amazon Associate. Disclosure.
emergency car kit — blanket, shovel, jumper
Class: blanket, compact shovel, jumper cables
A shovel is the honest extra for ice or a ditch. Bundled “roadside kits” often omit the shovel or go out of stock. No button. Buy the three pieces you actually need. Do not wait for a pretty bag. Severe-weather plans are NWS OUN, not an ASIN we invent.
Example of the class, not a ranked test. Winter tires: vehicle-specific — described, not linked.
Winter tires: vehicle-specific. We cannot pick a sane universal ASIN. Describe the class. Do not click a random tire.
Tinker weekly notes
There is no live MailerLite list on this page. We will not pretend there is.
If you want a weekly draft of public local / Air Force / base news — public affairs, DVIDS, and city only, no CAC-gated stuff — email Shaun. Subject line: Tinker weekly notes. He reads it before anything is sent. We do not auto-subscribe you. We do not send mail from this form.

- Per diem: Oklahoma City / Oklahoma County NSA (lodging $116 / M&IE $80 year-round, GSA master ID 295). ZIP 73145 (Tinker) and ZIPs 73110 / 73115 are Oklahoma City NSA in the ZIP file. ZIPs 73135 and 73150 have both a Standard Rate row ($110 / $68) and an Oklahoma City NSA row ($116 / $80). Tinker is Midwest City / Oklahoma County. Cited both. TMO/finance owns TLE locality if the member lodges outside the county or at a dual-row ZIP. We did not pick a winner.
- Indian Hills Inn is CLOSED (MOS TLF, MOS check-in, 72 FSS closure page dated 9 Jun 2024 saying closed 31 Dec 2022, tinker.af.mil 2022 news article). housing.af.mil UH search index still names Indian Hills Lodge for after-hours 72-hour rooms. Official closure wins. Cited, not flattened.
- tinker.af.mil Newcomers / News / privatized housing / Family Services and housing.af.mil Tinker: 403 from this datacenter 27 Aug 2026. Still linked. We did not invent 24-hour-inn or “Sooner Inn” copy from reprint sites.
- Hotel list: not published. MOS says call Relocation Program Manager at M&FRC 405-739-2747. 72 FSS local-accommodations link not copied.
- M&FRC phone: 405-739-2747 (MOS TLF / check-in Right Start / sponsorship / 72 FSS Right Start) vs 405-734-2747 (MOS relocation “call M&FRC” and 72 FSS PCS brief / sponsorship-awareness class). Cited, not flattened.
- Balfour Beatty hours: MOS privatized-housing block Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m.–7 p.m. vs same MOS page Main Contact Info Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Cited, not flattened.
- On-base wait: MOS “660 homes” and “average wait time is six to nine months” quoted with 27 Aug 2026 date. Monthly. Not gospel.
- Right Start: MOS “held each month” vs 72 FSS 2nd Wednesday (low season) / 2nd and 4th Wednesday (high season) vs FSS calendar item 2 Sep 2026 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Cited, not flattened.
- Airman’s Attic rank cutoff: MOS relocation E-5 and below vs tinker.af.mil Family Services E1–E6. Cited, not flattened.
- Loan Closet: MOS relocation says Tinker does not have one. Not invented.
- MyBaseGuide, InMyArea, realtor blogs: not used.
- Electric / gas company for a given street: not invented. City water (Midwest City and OKC) plus city pages that name OG&E (Midwest City welcome guide street lights; OKC rehab example bills) and ONG (OKC rehab example bills). No street map.
- Climate numbers: not invented. NWS OUN linked instead.
- BAH: published OK239 table from DTMO ASCII. Rate protection is individual; we do not compute a member’s claim.
- Secondary DLA: not published (same PDF heading still reads Effective January 1, 2025).
- Partial DLA: not in the 01 JAN 26 PDF; not invented.
- DITY weight allowance, fuel price, restaurant rank, commissary hours, hotel ranking, FamCamp nightly rates: not published.
- Commute minutes and a base-to-city mile count: not invented.
- USO building at Tinker: not found.
- Closed Facebook groups: not cited.
- Block heater and emergency-kit ASINs: not published. Class notes only. Winter tires: class only, no ASIN.
- ODWC hunting/fishing season tables: linked, not pasted.
Climate: NWS OUN, not a blocked fact sheet. Official rates above are current as of 27 Aug 2026 from GSA/DTMO files. This page follows the same template as other live bases: official first, conflicts in the open, no reprint-site numbers.
